Private Client Adviser

Payroll – Annual Salary

Benefits – health care, 401k plan, 20 PTO, voluntary benefits available (vision, dental, life)

Hours – 42.50 hours with one hour for lunch which equals a 37.50 work week

Office Hours – 8:30am until 5pm – this position is available for flexible hours approved by management

Requirements – Candidate must possess a NJ property and casualty insurance license

Experience – minimum of three years in the personal lines field, prefer experience with high net-worth clientele

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to;

Adviser will be engaged in daily client interaction, risk analysis, rating/quoting, creating and presenting proposals, providing exceptional service with a high touch to new and existing clients, work within carrier websites as well as the following systems; EPIC Applied, Outlook, WORD, Excel.  Adviser is expected to provide exceptional service and support to Centers of Influence.


Account Executive – Employee Benefits

Who does this position report to? Manager of Employee Benefits

How is this position paid?  Salaried

What are the routine hourly requirements of this position? 40 hours per week

What are the working hours for this position?  8:30am – 5:30pm 

What is the overview of the job responsibilities? 

  • Provide high level of customer service to all clients.
  • Help determine best benefits programs at the highest value.
  • Provide guidance on local and Federal laws with regard to:
    • Health Care Reform, ERISA and HIPAA .
    • Small and Large Group Medical carriers underwriting guidelines, product offerings and compliance.
    • Individual state laws regarding employee benefits.

What are the essential job functions does this person complete? 

  • Help resolve any client’s claim or carrier issues.
  • Put together new business and client presentation spreadsheets and analysis.
  • Work with General Agents and Carriers to get the necessary proposals for client presentations.

What are the minimum education requirements necessary to carry out the essential functions of this position?  Undergraduate Degree

What certifications, licenses or specialized training might be required?  Life & Health License

What experience might be necessary to carry out the essential functions of this position? 3-5 years working in employee benefits insurance
